Living on a ship
Would you like to live on this unique 1904 built ship that used to haul raw materials, mainly for the food industry (like grains) through the rivers of Europe? That is possible now. And on what kind of dream location! Imagine yourself with a homemade cappuccino on your deck in the morning sun, right after your morning swim? We will show you how this looks like…
The ship has been renovated to become a unique apartment with a living space, kitchen, bathroom, and 2 bedrooms.
The ship has been renovated to be open and light. The deck has been lifted and large windows have been added. You enter the ship by stairs into the living space with several cozy sitting areas and a gas fireplace in the middle of the living. The kitchen has a gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, water boiler, and fridge/freezer. In the back, you find a bedroom with a double bed, 2 single beds (bunk style) and a sink. The other bedroom is on the opposite side of the ship and has 2 single beds (bunk style). The bathroom has a shower, sink, and pump toilet. There is also a washing machine and dryer.
The only part of the ship that is not part of the apartment is the deckhouse. The owner uses that part-time. It has a separate entrance and is completely separated.
The ship is docked at the KNSM island. It is a very quiet part of the city with lots of water around it. Shops, restaurants, and public transportation options are close by.
